We’ve had the times of shade and sun, Our ups and downs, crying and fun, Garden of Eden or a living nightmare, I prosper now because we share. You can be my strength found in roots, Or blossom out into tasty fruits, And even though our future is unknown, I only know that my love will have grown. Failed Valentine Male Poem This valentine tree is my present to you, Cost me a fortune, you know its true. But its not the cost I wanted to put across, Or in our relationship that I am the boss. The following is in my heart and I want to say, These words that have followed me all day, For a long while I was waiting for love, Then in you flew just like a dove. I don’t mean you had a pointy nose, Or scratchy nails at the end of your toes, Or look anaemic and need the sun, Or when you crouch you show your bum. Ok that’s a bad example so I start again, Romance qualified that’s not really men, So let me say that I remember our first date, I vividly remember you carrying less weight. I first saw you and thought you were my star, Not dim, distant and best viewed from afar, This is not going well, its nice things that I wanted to say, For example, your moustache doesn’t get in the way. I know your love is stronger than hate, And you soon forgive times that irritate, Like the time that I bumped into your mother, Mistaking her for your hairy butch brother. The leaves imply you drop things on the floor, Same as a tree, you do it some more, You see the mess and you must approve, As like the tree you just don’t move. Some of your clothes are like an oak, Centuries old like a typical bloke, I sort them to bin bags for “safe keeping” You wave your arms and start weeping. You are the strongest in your dominion, The strength I speak is in your opinion, Just like the tree you remain steadfast, Changing position would take a blast. Tree love is the thing that I am feeling, Stronger each day so very appealing, Being with you bears oh so many fruits, And I really love putting down roots. I do not know where this will go, Only that my feelings grow, But since the day we got together, The future I see is us forever. Author: Alan Russell Senior Dogsbody Trees Online

There may be times I am not being clear, Nor full of fun or party cheer, But when your arms surround each day, I sigh my troubles out the way. But just in case you were not aware, Just how much I truly care, In man words I shall transmit, Tonight you’re gonna gettit. OR the last 2 lines can be In man words I simply review, Darling oak tree, I love you. Author: Alan Russell Senior Dogsbody Trees Online

My mouth is dry and thoughts awry, Will not show I want to cry, Those three words just don’t seem enough, They just roll right off the cuff. So average aside and my message to you, Is something that is overdue? For a long time now I have to admit, You have knocked me out of orbit. Author: Alan Russell Senior Dogsbody Trees Online

Long time relationship This is the start of another campaign, To show my feelings all over again, In the forest of life, we are 2 large trees, Side by side and enjoying the breeze. From time to time we weather a storm, Now its expected to be the norm, But when life’s weather causes me to bend, I don’t bend far to find a friend. I am stronger for you is what I claim, Because our roots are the same, I love you now more than before, Fellow rough skin, its you I adore. Author: Alan Russell Senior Dogsbody Trees Online
